Even though AnimaLovers helps lots of cats, there are always more for whom there is not room or resources. To help those animals, we invite people to post cats and kittens who are available for adoption privately on our Referral Cats page.

These cats are offered by their owners and placements are private matters between the parties. Posting photos and information is the only AnimaLovers involvement in the referral animals pages.  Postings are removed after 3 months unless the owner asks us to repost.

AnimaLovers makes no representations regarding the health or temperament history of any of the cats listed below. Please direct all questions regarding these issues to the owner.

Cat's Name: Buu
Neutered Male, shots up-to-date
Buu acts like a tough guy but is really a big cuddly, sissy. He is almost 2 years old and bursting with energy. He loves to play with his toys, as well as hide and seek. He does not get along with dogs at all. He has had minimal interaction with other cats but with proper introduction he should adapt. He is looking for a family that can give him a lot of attention. He has been neutered and is up-to-date on his shots. If you need further information or want to meet Buu, please call Chris at 518.366.4487 or e-mail at jonescw@mail.amc.edu.

Cat's Name: Beethoven
Neutered Male, shots up-to-date, 3 years old

I'm Beethoven--a very handsome boy and, like the gentleman I was named after, I am deaf.  However, I don't let that interfere with my inquisitive spirit. I do the same things as a normal cat would, like run around looking for toys to toss in the air and chase. The only difference is you can vacuum right next to me and I won't notice! I am very friendly with humans, and I currently live with a dog (Basset hound). I am friendly with her and all her dogie friends.  I do tolerate other cats, however my foster mom thinks it would be best if I am the only feline in your life. I have bounds of mischievous energy, and an endless supply of love. My
eyes set me apart from other kitties.  I have one green eye and one blue eye! I am a fun, handsome, playful cat who would appreciate a chance to have a home of his own. To find out more about me, contact Joanne-- Email: joanne.alessio@yahoo.com; Phone: 518-368-5308

Cat's Name: Summer
Declawed, Spayed Female
Summer was found in the country, by the side of the road. The family that rescued her has a dog that does not want Summer to stay! Summer is declawed and needs to find a family where she can be an only pet. For more information about Summer, contact Chris at 477-6721.

Cat's Name: Minnie
Sex: Female Age: 3 years Spayed/Neutered: Yes
Minnie is a sweet ball of fur who was happy to be the birthday present for a little girl; however, Minnie didn't realize she would be in a home with other animals and she needs a home where she can be an only pet. She gets along great with humans of all ages and might be lucky enough to find another little girl who doesn't already have other pets in her home. She's spayed and up to date on all her vaccines. Please call Quentin at 518-348-6131, or email him at quentin@nycap.rr.com, if you are interested in giving Minnie a home.

Cat's Name: Zippy
Sex: Male Age: 2 years Spayed/Neutered: Yes
Zippy is a very handsomely dressed fellow who’s approximately 2 years old. His previous family moved away and tossed him outside, leaving him to fend for himself. He’s clearly an indoor kitty. I had been feeding him, along with my feral cats, when he took ill. Happily, after vet care and meds (current on his shots), he’s been very healthy for months now. Unfortunately, he’s had to live in my bathroom as my roommate is allergic to cats.

Zippy loves to play ball and stalk his toys.  He also enjoys lap time and can get deeply hypnotized by a head scratch.  He seems to get along with other cats when properly introduced but definitely does not like dogs.  He very much needs a permanent indoor-only home of his own where he can roam the entire house/apartment, stretch out in a good run once in awhile, have a window seat or two and enjoy more human attention than I’m able to give him.  (Please – no declawing.)

If you would like more information or would like to meet Zippy, please call Beth at 273-0729.
